The wheelchair is designed for those who weigh up to 25 stone (160kg). The wheelchair can be folded down to the size that makes it easy to lift into and out of the boot.

This powerchair is able to be equipped with Invacare's Modulite seating system that provides postural support and comfort for the user. Twin batteries are available for a range of 27 miles.

A06L

Based on the well-loved A06 Freedom Chair, this heavy duty model has been made to fit users up to 25 stone/160kgs. The chair is equipped with twin 300 watt motors that can push you forward at speeds up to 4mph with the ability to travel 9 miles on a single battery (a second battery can be added).

When not in use it is compact and lightweight. It is easy to move and put away. It's ideal for people who travel on cruise ships, cars or plane with their chairs because it is able to easily fit into the cabin. It also has airline-approved lithium-ion batteries as well as an adaptor cable to charge off-board.

The powerchair can be controlled with a joystick mounted on either armrest. It is able to be used either right or left-handed. The foot plate flips up to allow easy user transfer and the tyres have 12" all-terrain PU so it is able to tackle more difficult terrain.

There's plenty of room to store personal items in the handy under-seat pouch and the fixed zippered pockets on the back of the seat. To ensure safety for the user, there are electromagnetic brakes and a movable lap belt.

The Freedom A06L is easily maneuverable and smaller than a mobility scooter so it can maneuver around tight spaces like shopping centres or lifts. It can climb gradients up to 8 percent. A kerb-climber is an additional feature that allows you to drive over the ramp or step with no assistance. Other features include the sound horn, seat and back cushions that can be removed to make cleaning easier and a swivel captain's seat with arm rest height adjustment.
