Size

Midi beds are typically smaller than high sleepers and also have a shorter ladder or staircase. They are therefore perfect for small rooms. They also use a standard UK single mattress and include a variety of useful pieces underneath. From a cleverly designed desk that slides into a cupboard that can hold totes, to elegant drawers that move with a smooth non-wobble motion.

Our midi cabin beds are available in a range of colors so you can choose one that best suits your child's bedroom. Some go even further and include a variety of bespoke storage unit. The desk can be moved between two units on wheels. There are four drawers of storage and two cabinets with doors. The Eli F takes it to the next level by having doors that match the color of the head and foot board.

The Luna low line loft bed or Midi storage bed is small and packed with everything you require including a ladder that can be turned around, a desk that can slide across the floor on wheels,, a three drawer chest, and cabinet all included. It is also possible to make in reverse, for example with the ladder on the right side, please ask in store or add this option to the checkout.

Most Midi loft beds require a standard UK Single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) and a wooden base. This isn't included in the cost of the bed, so we suggest looking at our mattress deals to find a deal that fits your budget!

Storage

Some of our midi-cabin beds have the option of adding doors onto the drawers and cabinets. They are available in the same colour as the foot and head board that you have selected. You can ask us in store, over the phone, or add a note to your order if this is something that you want.

It features a low staircase that has the option of it to be turned around, a desk that can slide into and out of the way on wheels, two drawers, and a cabinet with a doors all included. Mattress

Most midi beds are fitted with standard UK single mattresses. The top bunk has a safety rail for extra peace of mind. Some models come with a pull-out trundle drawer that can be used to host sleepovers, or to add additional storage space underneath the bed. They can be open or fitted with doors (please check the product's specifications for more details).

Many midi cabins come with a desk which can be moved between two upper levels, or chests of drawers. This allows the children to have the space they need to store everything they own. This also means that they don't have to take up floor space with large wardrobes or shelves.

A few models have gone an extra step with cabinet-style storage that is flush mounted or is part of the headboard/footboard. This is perfect for storing books and toys.
