Buying a Convertible Single to Double Stroller

There aren't many things more exciting than finding out that you're expecting your second child. However the process of preparing your family for the arrival of this new baby comes with its own set of challenges.

One of them is choosing the most suitable double pram to meet your requirements. This article will cover what options are available and also provide suggestions to help you select the right pram for your growing family.

Convertible double prams

A convertible single to double stroller is a great choice if you want a pram that can grow with your family. Tandem (in-line) double prams

As the name suggests, tandem prams are two seats or bassinets facing each other. They are generally smaller than side by side double prams and can be easier to manoeuvre through doorways and on public transport. They don't have much storage space and can be difficult to reach when both seats are being used, especially when your child is in the front seat.

Some first-time parents choose a tandem pram to future-proof their investment, especially in the case of children who are close to the age of. The main drawback is that your older child will eventually outgrow the side-by-side seat and will have to be moved to a toddler's chair which could be costly.
